Google announced Pixel 2 (and Pixel 2 XL) on October 4, 2017. It succeeds the original Pixel released one year earlier (2016) and was replaced by Pixel 3 which was released in 2018.
The pixel 2 serie comes in 3 colors (kinda blue, just black and clearly white) and two storage size (64/128GB).
The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have been designed and developed by HTC and LG, and of course, marketed by Google.

Screen issues “Burn-in”
Many reports of screen burn (on Pixel 2 XL) have been published online. The issue is not unusual, but the numbers of complaints was unusual, which lead Google to investigate. Although they later said this is nothing to worry.
Pixel 2 XL OLED “Black smear”
Users of Pixel 2 have experienced the black smear issue in their Pixel 2’s. This can be annoying when using the phone or browsing the Internet.
Whistling and clicking sounds
